The Heart Behind My Writing

My primary profession is nursing, but writing has always been the quiet pulse beneath everything I do. Years spent caring for patients—listening to their stories, witnessing their resilience, and learning from colleagues of every culture, faith, and background—have shaped the way I understand people. Nursing taught me how to connect through words, touch, presence, and sometimes humor. Those connections, brief or lasting, became the foundation of how I write.

Where Music Meets Storytelling

Music has been my lifelong companion. My home is filled with instruments—an upright and electric piano, acoustic and electric guitars, an electric bass, a clarinet, and a violin. They’ve been with me through seasons of joy, exhaustion, reinvention, and healing. And yet, as life grew busier, many of them fell silent.

I often imagined what they would sound like if someone played them simply for pleasure. That longing sparked an idea: if I couldn’t give them my time, I could give them a story. So I brought them to life. Not just as instruments, but as characters—each with a voice, a personality, a history, and a heartbeat.

That’s how my fictional rock band was born.

Why These Characters Matter

Music transports me the way a good book does. It lifts me out of the everyday demands of life and drops me into a place where imagination takes over. Writing gives me that same escape, that same breath of freedom.

My family is my heart and soul—my joy, my strength, and my greatest love. These five main characters have become an extension of that love. They feel like family to me now. They’ve grown into companions I root for, laugh with, and sometimes cry over.

An Invitation to Meet Them

I would love for you to get to know these unique individuals. My hope is that you’ll connect with them the way I have—that you’ll befriend them, feel for them, root for them, laugh and cry with them, and maybe even love them a little.

Because in the end, they were born from the same place my stories come from: the intersection of compassion, creativity, music, and the human heart.
